Therapy Rates (Licenced Registered Psychotherapist)
Individual Therapy Sessions: Individual Therapy Sessions: $150 per 50-minutes, $190 per 80-minutes

Walk-and-Talk Session: Walk-and-Talk Session: $150 per 50-minutes, $190 per 80-minutes.

Sliding Scale

While I do offer a sliding scale, it is very limited and often a waitlist is in effect. I offer two levels of sliding scale, with a limited amount of 6 sessions and/or four months.

Initial Consultations

I recommend booking an initial free 15 complimentary consultation to see if we would be a good therapeutic fit. The consultation is not therapy, and I will request for you to offer 1-2 high level items/issues/goals that you may want to address in future therapy sessions. The consultation is a place to ask questions about my approach and provide context as to what you are seeking out in therapy, and within a therapist. Actual psychotherapy sessions may begin after written consent has been completed. Consultations are typically done via telephone; however, you can request a video/virtual consultation as well.

Booking

Clients may book their own sessions through my online booking software or reach out via email. My online calendar does not show all my availability, so if you need a time that does not appear please reach out and I can verify if I can fit you in. I do recommend that you book a few sessions closer together (ie. weekly or biweekly) to begin with, because building the therapeutic relationship is important to the process, and it takes time to build rapport. You are welcome to reserve a specific time, and I encourage you to do so, because sometimes booking sessions one at a time lends itself to scheduling difficulties because I may be full for the next time you are requesting. I do not recommend beginning therapy with monthly sessions, as it will take a longer time to make any progress. I view monthly sessions as maintenance appointments.

Scheduling

I strongly recommend prebooking your sessions a few weeks or months in advance so you can reserve the days and times that work best for you. Having scheduled standing appointments will support your therapeutic progress with its consistency and make it easier to keep track of your own schedule (ie. less missed appointments) in terms of the time you carve out for therapy. Therapy is a commitment!

Inactive Therapy and Closing/Ending Sessions

Therapy is a very subjective process, and while some people attend for months or years, other people may only need a few sessions. Therapy can end at any time for different reasons. I request that if you are no longer needing or able to attend sessions, to please reach out so I can ethically and appropriately close your case. If I do not hear from you in a 4-month period I will close your case/account. You are always welcome to return!

Walk-and-Talk Therapy

An initial intake session (50 or 80 minute) is required before Walk-and-Talk sessions can occur. These can be done virtually or by phone.

Cancellation Policy

While I understand that unexpected events can occur, it is also important to respect my time. No-shows or last-minute cancellations means that it is not possible to book another client in for that spot. I request that all cancellations occur with a minimum of 48 hours notice. Full fees will be charged for no-shows or cancellations that happen with less than 48 hours notice.
